Clifford Arden Emerson, Sr., 58, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

He was born on March 18, 1960 to the late Elbert Emerson and Betty Miller Emerson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jessie Emerson and Bryan Emerson; and his sister, Betty Virge.

Survivors include his children, Clifford Emerson and wife, Beverly of Mt. Vernon, IN, Blonie Martin of Slaughters, KY, Ashley Emerson of Murray, KY, and Johnathan Emerson of Beulah, KY.; brothers, William W. "Billy" Emerson, Ricky Emerson, Charles Emerson, and Elbert Emerson, Jr.; sisters, Reida Tolliver and Vickie Jenkins; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
