Cletus Burns, 69, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:47 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on November 23, 1944 in Madisonville, KY to the late Flora O'dell Cobb and Vivian Burns. He was self employed and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Dunlap and Patricia Bell; and his brothers, Billy Burns and Dicky Burns.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Donna Burns; his sons, Duane (Rhonda) Burns of Hanson, KY, Rodney (Stacey) Burns of Hanson, Aaron Burns of Mortons Gap, KY and Ethan (Carolyn) Littlepage of Gracey, KY; his daughters, Tressa (Randall) Willis of Elizabethton, TN, Jennifer (Tommy) Gordon of Madisonville and Destanie (Aaron) Weatherford of Nashville, TN; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Roger Jones officiating and Bro. Ross Burns assisting. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Matt Willis, Zachary Willis, Tyler Burns, Derek Burns, Heath Robertson, Nick Littlefield.
