Christopher Barlow Belt, 37, of Nortonville, KY passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his home.

He was born on December 11, 1976 in Madisonville, KY to Betty Vaughn and Terry Carner. He was formerly employed with S & S Stave Mill. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Candy Belt.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Belt of Princeton, KY his mother, Betty (Ricky) Vaughn of Nortonville; his father, Terry Carner of Dawson Springs, KY; his daughter, Candy Belt of Princeton; his son, Austin Belt of Princeton; his step-son, Darrin Matthews of Princeton; his step-daughter, Ashley Adams of Princeton; his sister, Christa Tabor of Dawson Springs; his brother, Mike Phillips of Eddyville, KY; his grandson, Caden Adams of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton with Bro. Troy Jent officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Monday at the church. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
