Chris Lee Hibbs' Obituary
Christopher Lee Hibbs, 35, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020.
He was born on July 7, 1984 in Madisonville to Lana Benningfield and the late Ernie Hibbs. Chris was employed at Kroger in Madisonville for fifteen years as an assistant third shift manager and attended The River Church in Nortonville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid UK Basketball fan. Chris loved his dogs.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buck Hibbs, Mary Edith Parker Pendergraff and J.B. Pendergraff.
Survivors include his mother, Lana (James) Benningfield of Clarksville, TN; sister, Tiffany (Lucas) Almon of White Plains, KY; grandmother, Hattie Hibbs of Madisonville; aunt, Jana Bostick of Madisonville; nieces, Brooklyn Hibbs and Mia Almon; nephew, Noah Almon; several aunts, several uncles; and several cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Howard Jones officiating.
The visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Chris' memory to The River Church 1580 Nortonville Rd. Nortonville, KY 42442.
