Dawn Cherrie McLemore Christian, 68, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Continue Care Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on September 28, 1954, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Cora Kirkwood McLemore and Thomas Morgan. She was formerly employed as a driver and dispatch for PACS Transportation. Dawn was the Vice President of Landon's Hope in Sebree, KY. She enjoyed traveling and especially spending time with her family. She was a member of Unity in Christ Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Christian; and her brother, Jerry McLemore.

Survivors include her sons, Derrick (Trish) Christian and David (Stacy) Christian, both of Madisonville; sister, Pam Crain of Madisonville; grandson, Patrick Christian of Boonville, IN; granddaughters, Lexie Christian of Boonville and Jordan Marks of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Richardson officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
