Charles "Charlie" Raymond Huggins, 83, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

He was born on August 17, 1940, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Lucille France Huggins and Ralph Huggins. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a coal miner with Peabody Coal Company. He loved horseback riding and singing. Charlie was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and attended Souls Harbor Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Sue Ann Minton Huggins; brothers, Marvin Huggins and William Huggins; and sisters, Eva Adams, Lois Burns, and Gaynell Joselyn.

Survivors include his sons, Teddy (Sherri) Clark of Madisonville and Billy (Debbie) Clark of Nortonville; sister, Shirley Hill of Madisonville; brothers, Otho Huggins of Utica, KY and Ronnie (Shelby) Huggins of Jacksonville, TX; grandchildren, Megan (Timmy) Armstrong and Katie (Marcus) Villa; great-grandchildren, Brinkley Armstrong, Abigail Armstrong, Christian Armstrong, Davin Armstrong, and Ellison Armstrong; great-great granddaughters, Adalynn Barnes and Paisley Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.

A private visitation and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bill Crabtree officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Merle Compton, Kyle Compton, Billy Clark, Teddy Clark, Timmy Armstong, and Christian Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers are Davin Armstrong and Ellison Armstrong.
