Carolyn Sue Williams, 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born on November 23, 1956 in Hardinsburg, KY to the late Margaret Emery and Sam Harper. Carolyn was formerly a CNA with Colonial Terrace and worked in security at General Electric in Madisonville. She loved going to church where she attended Fellowship Temple in Madisonville and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Shannon DeWitt and husband, Dylan of Madisonville; sisters, Connie Gary of Madisonville and Libby Murphy of Dawson Springs, KY; brother, William "Bill" Harper of Owensboro, KY; grandson, Jacob DeWitt of Madisonville; granddaughter, Kloe DeWitt of Madisonville; and her nephew, James Harper of Dawson Springs.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Gene Rickard officiating. Burial to follow at Zion Brick Cemetery in Slaughters, KY.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dylan DeWitt, Jacob DeWitt, Bill Harper, Libby Murphy, Randall Emery and Chris Emery.
