Carolyn Capps, 64, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at her home.

She was born on October 4, 1958, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Eula Rickard Renfro Armstrong and Leon Renfro. She was formerly employed as a press operator for Clayton Printing. She loved watching college softball and watching the cows on the farm. She was an active member of Hanson United Methodist Church where she ran the soundboard for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Capps.

Survivors include her son, Mike Capps of Fairview, KY; brothers, William "Tank" (Karen) Renfro of Hanson, KY and Steve "Hog" (Beverly) Renfro of Dawson Springs, KY; sister-in-law, Jessica Menser of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Hanson United Methodist Church with Pastor Tami Coleman officiating. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the church.
