Carol Dean Whitmer, 74, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 8, 1945 in Manitou, KY to the late Martin Harris and Hallie King Harris. Carol was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vanona Harris and Wanda Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, Ronald L. Whitmer; her daughter, Karen (Roger) Cunningham of Manitou; grandaughter, Stacy (Aaron) Smith of Owensboro, KY; and her great-granddaughter, Angelia Smith of Owensboro, whom was Carol's pride and joy.

There will be a private graveside service held at Nebo Cemetery in Nebo, KY with Bro. Billy Parrish officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
