Carlos Jr McKnight, 81, of St. Charles, KY, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at his home.

He was born on January 11, 1942, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Marie Thompson McKnight and Arnold McKnight. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was formerly employed and retired as coal miner from Providence Coal and Alliance Coal. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. Carlos was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Jane McKnight.

Survivors include his daughter, Laura McKnight of St. Charles; son, Jeffrey McKnight of St. Charles; sister, Susan (Michael) Wright of St. Charles; grandchildren, Chelsea Burdin, Zachary Chapell, Laken Farley, and Hunter McKnight; great-grandchildren, Liddie Burdin, Aden Burdin, Cecilia Chappell, and Ezra Chappell; nephew, Daniel Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
