Carl W. Winebarger, Sr., 78, of Manitou, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at NHC Healthcare Madisonville.

He was born on March 11, 1939 in Slaughters, KY to the late Marvel Lee Winebarger and Ruby Farris Winebarger. Carl was a member and former pastor at Miracle Temple Church of God in Madisonville. He was a self employed truck driver and an avid UK fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Paula Ruby Winebarger; son, Jeff Winebarger; brothers, Niles Winebarger, Howard Winebarger, Garrett Winebarger and Edward Winebarger; and his grandsons, Eric Parrish and William Parrish, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Lula Mai Winebarger; sons, Billy Winebarger and wife, Joy of Benton, KY, Carl Winebarger, Jr. and wife, Tammy and Edgar Winebarger and wife, Wendy both of Madisonville; daughters, Shelia Parrish and Carlla Jean Herold both of Madisonville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Leek officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brandon Winebarger, Adam Winebarger, Steven Herold, Patrick Winebarger, Jeffrey Winebarger, Travis Winebarger and Austin McCutcheon.
