Carl Thomas Horn, 68, of Sacramento, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born on January 3, 1956, in Greenville, KY, to the late Bettie Gene Blake Talley and Carl Bennett Horn. He was formerly employed as a coal miner for Peabody Coal Company. He loved going to the lake. He was an avid fan of Cubs baseball and UK basketball. Carl was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eric Charles Horn and Donnie Horn.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Debra King Horn of Sacramento; sons, Corey (Erica) Thomas Horn of Springfield, IL, Robert (Elizabeth) Louis Horn of Chatham, IL, and Joseph (Nichole) Charles Horn of Mackinaw, IL; daughter, Cara Susanne Horn of Springfield, IL; sister, Peggy Hester of Florida; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two step grandchildren; uncle, Percy (Buddy) Blake; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024. in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Joey Horn, Corey Horn, Robert Horn, Collin Horn, Tony King, and Grayson Bales.
