Calvin Dunn, 56, of White Plains, KY passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born on February 14, 1964 in Owensboro, KY to Carolyn Peyton Curl and the late Calvin Ray Dunn. Calvin was a self employed logger. He was a very charming man with a great sense of humor, he was kind hearted and loving and he enjoyed spending time with people close to him. He loved to swim in natural waters like Lake Venus and spool holes. Calvin loved the woods it was always like his second home. He was very in touch with nature and enjoyed the outdoors.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Markwell.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Curl of Madisonville; daughters, Cassandra (Nicholas) Dunn of Owensboro, Jennifer Rickard of Madisonville and Courtney Coons of Louisville, KY; son, Shaun (Tabatha) Cox of Madisonville; sisters, Lena (Gary) Madison, Teresa (Calvin) Griffith and Dede (Heath) Tucker all of Madisonville; brother, Sammy Curl of Madisonville; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
