Brenda Kay Tyson, 72, of Earlington, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Madisonville Health and Rehab.

She was born on May 19, 1952, in Madisonville, KY to the late Edith Myretta Cunningham Tyson and Reynolds Tyson. Brenda was formerly employed at Grandma's Kitchen and Enro Shirt Factory. She enjoyed fishing and growing roses. Brenda was a dog lover and an avid UK fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Moore; her brother, Steve Tyson; and her brother in law, Birch "Pistol" Hoot.

Survivors include her sisters, Tonia (Danny) Downs of Madisonville, Kelly (Rick) Conrad of Rumsey, KY and Jeannie Hoot of Madisonville; brother, David (Joan) Tyson of Clarksville, TN; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Matt Conrad officiating. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Madisonville.

A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Rick Conrad, Tyler Conrad, Blake Conrad, Brad Tyson, Daniel Crow and Bob Taliaferro. Honorary pallbearer will be David Tyson.
