Brenda Tsao, 54, was taken home to Jesus after a short illness. She passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on February 14, 1969, in Akron, OH, to Patricia Popa Carolan and the late George Kenneth Marvin.

Brenda was known for her gentle, loving heart, fabulous sense of humor and outgoing personality. She attended Grand Strand Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, Kenneth Marvin; and her first husband Michael E. Tsao.

She is survived by her loving family, her beloved and faithful husband David Fyfe; son, Michael Tsao; mother, Patricia Carolan; sisters, Amanda Cole and Cynthia Garris; and brother, Daniel Fraser.

A message from her son, Michael: "For those of you that don't know; my mother had a stroke on Friday and was hospitalized. This morning she decided she would celebrate the birth of Jesus with him and walked through heaven's gates this morning. To be honest...I think she ran through them and tackled Jesus to express her love for him. I love you Mom. Say hi to Dad for me."

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
