Bradley "Brad" James Thornhill, 64, of Mt. Vernon, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on June 26, 1960, in Centralia, IL, to Ruth Andrea Moore Evischi and the late James Dale Thornhill. He was formerly employed with Illinois Central Railroad and Walgreens Distribution. He married Patty Bradford on February 2, 2003. Brad was a huge sports fan and loved music and especially the band, Rush. His greatest joy and love was spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Moore Baal Isaak; his stepfather, Jerry Evischi; and his stepson, Toby Bradford.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Patty Bradford Thornhill of Mt. Vernon, IL; mother, Ruth Andrea Moore Evischi of Centralia, IL; siblings, Lynn (Richard) Rudy of Flora, IL, Connor (Amy) Thornhill of Miamisburg, OH, and Rae Ann (Chris) Quidgeon of Centralia, IL; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs and loving companions, Thorn and Betty.

A private family service will be held. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
