Bobby Gene Trover, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on July 9, 1939 in St. Charles, KY to the late Charles and Kathleen Trover. Bob was a United States Army Veteran and was a retired coal miner. His passion in life was riding his Harley Davidson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Susan Trover; sisters, Wetonia Hinton, Jonell Bullock and MaryAnn Hawkins; and his brothers, Charles Trover and Jerry Trover.

Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Trover Crook and Jennifer Trover Peterson and husband, Steve all of Madisonville; his love of seventeen years, Janice Davis of Madisonville; step-son, Chris Davis and wife, Melissa of Louisville, KY; sister, Faye Trover of Hanson, KY; his beautiful grandchildren, Whitney Cavanaugh, Collin Crook, Katelyn Peterson, Olivia Peterson and Aires Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Lake Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in St.Charles (Lake Grove Loop Nortonville, KY) with Bro. Roy Ellis officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
