Billy Allen Moore
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Billy Allen Moore, 59, of Madisonville, died at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2008, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He was born February 3, 1949, in Clay, Ky., to the late Selby Moore and Dee Allen Moore. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He served during the Vietnam era. He also retired from the State Transportation Dept. and Hopkins Co. Board of Education. He was a member of Providence Rural United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Rose Moore Belt.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cash Moore of Madisonville; one son, Scott (Dawn) Moore of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Jordan Moore and Kirsten Moore, both of Madisonville; four nieces; and four great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2008, in the Chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Roy Ellis, Rev. Harvey Crouch and Rev. Jerry Hatchet officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Ky. Military grave side rites will be conducted by Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday at Harris Funeral Home.
