Billie Jo Moore Basham, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home with her family be her side.

She was born on December 28, 1938 in Madisonville to the late, Lottie and Paul Moore. Billie Jo was a member for thirty-five years at Tops Club, Inc. and attended Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Hanson. She formerly worked at Enro Shirt Factory. Billie Jo enjoyed camping and the outdoors and truly loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Harold Basham and her brothers, Paul P. Moore and Bobby Moore.

Survivors include her sons, David (Laurie Cowan) Basham of Madisonville and Danny (Jill) Basham of Graham, KY; grandchildren, Danny (Kali) Basham, Jr., Dylan (Kirsten) Basham all of Madisonville and Jennifer Faye Basham of Manitou, KY; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Basham, John Basham, Jessie Basham, Kayden Basham all of Madisonville and Kaile Branson of Manitou; and a special thank you to her caregivers, Julie Hallum  and Laurie Cowan for the special love and care shown to her.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral home in Madisonville with Pastor Gary Taylor officiating and Bro. Patrick Yates assisting. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Basham, Danny Basham, Jr., Dylan Basham, Roy Hibbs, Patrick Yates and Brad England. Honorary pallbearers are Julie Hallum, Laurie Cowan, Charles Carter and Harold Hibbs.
