Betty Ann Hollis Gunther, 81, of Nebo, Ky, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at her home.

She was born on June 30, 1939, in Evansville IN to the late Elizabeth Shiver Hollis and Fred Hollis. Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Johnson Island Baptist Church in Nebo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Gunther, and her brother, James Hollis.

Survivors include her children, Tom Gunther of Nebo, Fred (Vicky) Gunther of Evansville, Elizabeth (John) Odom in Evansville, IN, Brenda Hooper and Mark (Claudia) Gunther both of Madisonville, KY and Diana VonGlahn of Indiana; brother, Bob Hollis of Evansville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Ralph Alexander officiating. Burial to follow at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Princeton, KY.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
