Betty Davis-Donaldson, 87, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home.

She was born on November 20, 1924 in Washington, PA to the late John Holmes, Sr. and Marie Gardner Holmes. She was formerly head cashier for Sears in the customer service department. She was a christian.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe W. Davis, Jr. and her second husband, Robert Scott Donaldson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Brinson of Madisonville; Mary (Keith) Mainguy of North Carolina; her sister, Jackie (Bill) Ziskay of Pennsylvania; two brothers, John Holmes, Jr. and Al Boardley both of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Leslie Lefevers, Marc Mainguy and Karly Mainguy; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Doug Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
