Bernice Stephens, 88, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2022, at Hillside Center in Madisonville.

She was born on March 7, 1934, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, to the late Ethyl Beacom and Gordon T. Beacom. She has always loved going to church and helping others in need. Bernice was a member of Christian Tabernacle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arthur Stephens; and grandson, Justin Stephens.

Survivors include her son, Arthur "Art" (Michelle) Stephens of O'Fallon, MO; daughter, Alice (Mark) Earlywine of Gulfshores, AL; several brothers and sisters; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her caregivers, Freida Maulding and Pam Darrow.

A private graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks Memorial Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
