Bernice Wayne Oakley, 65, of Manitou, KY passed away at 1:22 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at his brothers home.

He was born on August 8, 1948 in Henderson, KY to the late Kathleen and Rev. Arvel Oakley. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his brother, Allen (Judy) Oakley of Manitou; and his sister, Kathy (Byron) Beck of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Byron Beck and Rev. Troy Oakley officiating. Burial to follow in Oakley Home Cemetery in Manitou. Pallbearers will be the men of Bright Life Farm.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bright Life Farms. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
