Barbara Ann Welch, 75, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at her home.

She was born on October 4, 1948, in Dawson Springs, KY, to the late Vola Jones Lovell and Noah Adams. She was a homemaker. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Barbara attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Dawson Springs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony "Tony" Curtis Miles, several brothers, and several sisters.

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Jerry Wayne Welch of Dawson Springs; son, Michael (Pamela) Wayne Miles of Dawson Springs; daughter, Barbara Sue Carter of Dawson Springs; sister, Mary Sue Rogers of Madisonville; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Walnut Grove Church 477 Walnut Grove Rd. Dawson Springs, KY with Bro. Jackie Mathis officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
