Barbara Kay Harris Tilton, 75, of Earlington, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on April 19, 1950, in Oaktown, IN, to the late LaVaughn Latshaw Harris and William "Bill" E. Harris. She was a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserve. She was a graduate of North Knox High School. She attended Indiana University, Murray State University, and she received her degree from the University of Iowa in 1980. She was formerly employed as an executive secretary for Phillips Magnavox in Knoxville, TN. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, golfing, traveling, playing bridge, and was an avid Hoosier basketball fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Pasquale in 1992.

Her survivors include her husband, John Tilton; brother, David E. (Virginia) Harris of Seattle WA; nieces and nephews, Cooper (Angelina) Harris, Hasalyn (Logan) Modine, and Emily Harris; great-nephews, Jackson Harris and Wylder Modine; great-niece, Helena Modine; and her loving cats that were rescues.

A private burial will be held at Oaktown Cemetery in Knox County, IN. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
