Barbara Sue Dame, 63, of Manitou, KY passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on July 25, 1954 in Madisonville to the late Juanita and A.J. Stone. Barbara was employed with the Manitou Post office and was a member of Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Barnett.

Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Danny Dame; sisters, Mary Barron of Nebo, KY and Sharon Stone of Manitou; granddaughters, Lauren Kim and husband, Young Hwan of Wilmore, KY and Danielle Barnett of Madisonville, KY; grandson, Luke Barnett of Madisonville; son-in-law, Linn Barnett and wife, Miranda of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating and Bro. Steve Dame assisting. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in Manitou. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou.

Pallbearers are Eric Stone, Michael Barron, Tyler Scott, Patrick Scott, Austin Scott and Young Hwan Kim. Honorary pallbearers are Shannon Dame, Dennis Dame and Jimmy Haleman.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to Gideons International or the American Cancer Society.
