Barbara Ann Barnett, 72, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:38 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on July 29, 1940 in Madisonville, KY to the late Bill Barnett and Helen Swann Barnett. She retired from Regional Medical Center in Madisonville as a nurse. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ross DeMoss; two sons and a grandson, Timothy Patterson.

She is survived by five daughters, Terisa Ann (Ronnie) Fields of Dawson Springs, KY, Pamela Lynn Stanley of Mortons Gap, KY, Karen Elaine Hanor of Rabbit Ridge, KY, Kathy Denise Dukes of Florida and Beverly Stanley of Madisonville; her son, Frankie Stanley of Madisonville; her brother, Charles Wayne Barnett of Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Mortons Gap Christian Church in Mortons Gap with Pastor David Jackson officiating.

There will be no visitation. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
