Arthur L. Ridley, 86, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

He was born on August 19, 1930 in Madisonville to the late Magaline and Ford Ridley. Arthur was a federal mine inspector and was a member of the First Christian Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Coburn Ridley; daughter, Rhonda Ridley and sisters, Rosemary Fowler and Evelyn Bowles.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ridley; son, David Ridley and wife, Sandra of Madisonville; daughter, Missy Chinn and husband, Charlie of Madisonville; grandsons, Dru Ridley of Lexington, KY and Sam Chinn and wife, Amber of Madisonville; granddaughters, Laura Chinn Benningfield and husband, Caleb of Bowling Green, KY and Julia Ridley Colina and husband, J.J. of Tampa, FL ; great-grandchildren, Charlie Benningfield and Emmy Benningfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Arthur's memory to First Baptist Church Student Ministry.
