Anna Page Givens' Obituary
Anna Page Givens, 84, of Madisonville Ky. passed away on Saturday July 30, 2011 at her home in Madisonville.
She was born on August 5, 1926 in Hopkins County, Ky. to the late James and Virgie Page. She was formerly employed with the state of Kentucky as a social worker for many years. She went on to be owner and operator of Givens Book Exchange.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Parl T. Givens; a sister, Mary Page; and two brothers, Thomas C. Page and James D. Page.
She is survived by a sister, Louise Fleming of Slaughters, Ky.; a nephew, Jimmy Page of Madisonville, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Rosie Page London of Madisonville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday August 5, 2011 in Odd Fellows Cemetery with burial to follow. Officiating the service will be Dr. Joe Leonard.
There will be no visitation. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
