Angela Kaye Childers Downing, 75, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab in Madisonville, KY.

She was born on September 17, 1950, in St. Charles, KY, to the late Louella Morgan Love and Aubrey Earl Childers.  In her younger years, she loved going swimming. Most recently, she enjoyed going to the farmers market and reading the bible. Angela was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Clark and Patricia Cope.

Her survivors include her sons, Shawn (Leslie) Bennett of Evansville, IN, and Brent Matthew Bennett of Madisonville; sister, Deborah (Johnnie) Wilson of Fredonia; brother, Duane (Rita) Childers of Clay, KY; grandsons, Drew Bennett and Skylar Hawkins; granddaughter, Madison Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
