Alice Jane Tittsworth Rhye, 74, of Madisonville died at 2:57 p.m. Feb. 18, 2009, at Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Hopkins County; worked at Ferrell's Restaurant for more than 32 years; and was of the baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Ezra Tittsworth; mother, Ruby Ford Tittsworth; husband, Ramus John Rhye, who passed away March 8, 2006; daughter, Sandra Kay Rhye; three sons, Steve Allen Rhye, Elvis Rhye and Jimmy Wayne Rhye; one sister, Wanda Sue Tittsworth Anthony; and three brothers, W.E. Tittsworth, Bill Ford and Billy Tittsworth.

She is survived by three daughters, Regina Sue Jensen of Charleston, Vanessa Rhye of Madisonville and Linda Bates of Beulah; two sons, Roger Gene Rhye of Madisonville and Kenny Rhye of Richland; one brother, Hardy Ray "Skip" Tittsworth of Orlando, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; several step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, Madiosnville. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. The Rev. Darrell Menser and Brother Steve Rutherford will conduct the service. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from noon to service time Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dustton Walker, Danny Tittsworth, Chris Bates, Kevin Evitts, Raymond Emery and James Refice. Honorary pallbearers are Rod Allen Osborne and Dwayne Cates.
