Alice Faye Pentecost, 79, of Albany, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her home.

She was born on April 24, 1939 in Madisonville to the late Martha Helen Hatler and Ernest Hatler. Faye was formerly employed for over twenty-seven years with Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She enjoyed gardening, reading and word search puzzles. Faye was the most loving and giving person to everyone.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Terry Wayne Pentecost and Bobby Wayne Pentecost; brother, Don Hatler; and her grandson, Dylan Wayne Pentecost.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki (Glen) Carter of Madisonville; son, Steve (Jennifer) Pentecost of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Jan (Ronnie) Stirsman of Madisonville; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Special recognition to her granddaughter, Brooke Rodriguez; and her great-granddaughters, Erika Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez and Alyssa Rodriguez for the special care and attention shown to Faye.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Donnie Carroll officiating. The visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville. The Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
