Agnes Paulean Jenkins, 73, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home.

She was born on April 1, 1941 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Gerthie Dockery Mathes and William Floyd Mathes. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Chruch and also attended Richland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Kay Jenkins Friend; niece, Debra Ann Mathes and son-in-law, Jeffrey Alan Arnold.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Cleatus Jenkins; daughter, Charlotte Arnold of Madisonville; brother, Carmon (Nancy) Mathes of Beulah, KY; grandsons, Stephen (Stephanie) Arnold, David (Sarah) Arnold both of Madisonville, Brian (Katie) Arnold of Providence, KY and Daniel (Holly) Arnold of San Diego, CA; eight great-grandchildren; nephew, Dale Mathes; great-nephew, Nathan Tapp; and a great-niece, Brooke Tapp.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Lantrip and Bro. Laddie Pride officiating. Burial to follow at New Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, Ky.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Arnold, Stephen Arnold, Brian Arnold, Dan Overton, Dale Mathes and Nathan Tapp.
