Adoys H. Parish, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on October 10, 1926 in Madisonville, KY to the late Rev. Charlie W. Hyatt and Opal Dame Hyatt. She formerly worked for Enro Shirt Factory (Carhart) as a seamstress. She also retired from Baker and Hickman as a seamstress. She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Madisonville for over fifty years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Hyatt Follin and her brother-in-law, David E. Hill.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Gregory of White House, TN; her son-in-law, Claude Gregory of White House, TN; her sister, Ina Hill of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Services celebrating her life and home going will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at First General Baptist Church in Madisonville with Rev. Darrell Menser officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at First General Baptist Church.
