Kenneth Edward "Geese" Hibbs, 64, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Regional Medical Center.

He was born on September 6, 1947 in Carbondale, KY to the late Barnum Hibbs, Sr. and Freda Brumit Hibbs. He was self employed with Hibbs Lawn Care. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Hibbs; two brothers, Cletus Wayne Hibbs and Roger Dale Hibbs.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Clark Hibbs of Madisonville, KY; three daughters, Lisa Farley of Hardinsburg, KY. Amy Beard of Madisonville, KY. Amanda Gordon of Earlington, KY; two sons, Charlie "Chuck" Hibbs of Louisville, KY and Eddie Burns, Jr. of Nortonville, KY; three sisters Janice Brackett of Madisonville, KY, Linda Sojtori of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Mary Elaine Gamblin of Madisonville, KY; two brothers Barnum Hibbs, Jr. of Madisonville, KY and Larry Hibbs of Madisonville, KY; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Donnie Neal officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Moore, Pat Moore, Jr., Johnny Beard, Matthew Gordon, Randall Dyer and Tommy Smith.
